About Florida Excell

Florida Excell, Inc. has been a Florida-approved continuing education provider since 1990. Headquartered in Havana, Florida, we are committed to excellence in continuing education for the laboratory professional.

Our Leadership

Florida Excell was founded by, and is led today, by Helma M. Fire, Ph.D., MT(ASCP); CLS(NCA); Supv (FL BCLP). Under her leadership as President, Florida Excell has grown into a highly recognized and respected authority in the laboratory continuing education field.

Our Philosophy

Over the years we have continued to ask our patrons how we could better serve their CE needs.  This has led to a constant process of writing and rewriting to provide course material that is cutting edge, challenging, yet clear and concise. It is now truly possible to study on your schedule, at home or on the beach, and to know that you are not only meeting your continuing education requirements, but also improving your knowledge and skills.

Currency of Course Offerings

We continually update our course offerings as new materials become available, and as licensing requirements change. Our courses are now current to meet your continuing education requirements through December, 2010.

Accreditations and Licenses

Our course offerings are approved and accepted by Florida, AMT, NCA, and the new ASCP Certification Maintenance Program.  Our CEUs are also accepted by AAB, IAC, LA, MT, ND, NV, RI, TN, and WV Boards.
