This course includes the role of the thrombomodulin-protein C system, advantages and disadvantages of PT/INR/PTT, plus advantages and disadvantages of TEG (thromboelastography) and ROTEM (thromboelastometry). Also discussed are issues and logistics to consider when deciding to use TEG and ROTEM.
